Non-magnetic Drill collars
Non-magnetic Drill Collar materials with low- strength (YDWC20-14) by combining a proprietary chemical analysis and a rotary hammer forging process with low magnetic permeability excellent machine ability.
Each Drill Collar is fully inspected by internal inspection dept. All data obtained are recorded on the inspection certificate furnished with each drill collar. API monogram, serial number, OD, ID, type and size of connections are stamped on recessed mill flats.
Drill collars are available in lengths from 10 to 31 feet and outside diameter from 31/8" to 11"
The non-magnetic drill collar is made of a low-carbon high-chromium-manganese alloy steel. It is refined after a strict chemical composition and refined by forging to achieve its mechanical properties. It has good low magnetic permeability and high strength. Mechanical properties, excellent intergranular corrosion resistance and excellent wear resistance. When the magnetic field strength is 1×105/4π A/m, the relative magnetic permeability μr of the non-magnetic drill collar is ≤1.010.
The non-magnetic drill collar has a magnetic induction intensity gradient of ≤0.05μT along the inner hole at any distance of 100mm.
